Overview/Benefits
The 2025 IT Program will equip students with a wide range of hands-on skills in the field of product and engineering design such as:
- 3D printing: Master this evolving technology where we build physical objects layer by layer from the ground up. This allows for precise control and increased accuracy when compared to other manufacturing processes.
- Computer Aided Design with Solidworks: Learn how to create digital 3d models and 2d drafting of engineering systems, allowing for prototype simulations.
- Mechanical design: Learn how forces interact with object and how to apply mechanical design principles to build systems and machines that stand the test of time.
- MATLAB programming: A versatile programming language which engineers use for algorithm development, data analysis, and control system design. Our comprehensive training ensures you not only grasp the fundamentals but also become adept at leveraging MATLAB to solve real-world engineering problems.
- Embedded systems and Robotics: Integrate sensors and actuators to designs to build automated systems and smart devices.
- Team-building and Communication skills: Collaborate with other interns to build systems that solve real word problems, learn how to communicate technical terms effectively and build your confidence while defending your projects.

Eligibility
- Open to all interested persons
- Must be living in Port Harcourt at the time of the program
- Must be available at least three times a week for the training
- Must agree to the terms and conditions stated in the application form
- Must be committed throughout the training period
